Winston DeLattiboudere III

Winston DeLattiboudere III was named Minnesota defensive line coach and newcomer coordinator in January 2023. He was promoted to Assistant Head Coach in January 2024. 

In 2023, DeLattiboudere's first season with the Gophers, the defense improved its sack totals from 19 in 2022 to 26 in 2023. The production by the defensive line was even more impressive, as that unit had 10.5 sacks in 2022, but then recorded 20 sacks in 2023 for an improvement of 9.5 sacks. 

Jah Joyner and and Danny Striggow, who were both named Honorable Mention All-Big Ten, led the way with 7.5 and 6.0 sacks, respectively. Striggow recorded 51 tackles to lead all defensive linemen, while Kyler Baugh, who was also recognized as Honorable Mention All-Big Ten, had 41. 

The defensive line was also disruptive with the ball, as it forced six fumbles, recovered three fumbles, broke up seven passes and made one interception.
