John Loose

John Loose is in his second stint with Army and 19th season overall on the Banks of the Hudson. He enters his 38th year in college football. In 2023, Loose led senior team captain Jimmy Ciarlo to his best season, being named to the second team Phil Steele All-Independent team. Ciarlo finished with career highs with 58 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, and three sacks. Senior Jackson Powell also emerged to produce three sacks and was tied for the team lead with Ciarlo and Leo Lowin.
