About this speaker
I have my BA in Economics and Business from Hampden-Sydney College, and my Masters in Leadership Studies from Marshall University.
I started my coaching career at my Lamar mater, Hampden-Sydney College immediately following graduation. I was the TE’s coach for 5 seasons there and was the special teams coordinator in 2018. I coached 4 all-conference TE’s in 5 seasons.
I left my Alma mater after the 2018 season and took a special teams QC job at Marshall University. In my one season in this role, we finished 8-4 and were invited to the Gasparilla Bowl. We had semifinalists named for the Lou Groza, Morell, and Mannely Awards.
I was promoted the following year to OL GA where I got to work under coach Greg Adkins in 2020, and coach Eddy Morrissey in 2021. We were PFF’s 3rd highest rated Offensive Line in the country following 2020 regular season and had 3 All-CUSA lineman, and 1 AP All-American.
In 2021, we had 2 All-CUSA OL and finished 3rd in the country in rushing touchdowns.
Following the 2021 season, I joined the staff at Memphis and worked under coach Jim Bridge. We finished the 2022 season 7-6 after beating Utah State in the in the First Responders Bowl.
In March of 2023, I was hired as the OL coach at Georgetown University. In each of my first two seasons on the hilltop, we have finished the season averaging over 4.2 yards per carry. We have also finished inside the top 30 in the country in tackles for loss and sacks allowed in each of these first two seasons as well.
